Extends up to 1.2 km maximum cable length for data communications between terminal
equipment (PC) and Globalstar User Terminal (UT), 9.6 Kbit/s transmission rate in radio
channel.
Principle of operation:
2 duplex industry RS232/RS422 converters are used on the transmission and receiving ports.
The RS422 outputs of the converters are connected by the multi wire line.
One converter is connected to the PC by means of dedicated short cable with RS232
interface and 25 to 9 pin adapter (supplied by GlobalTel).
