Short description:
The service allows the Globalstar mobile satellite communications system subscribers
to receive and send e-mail on the basis of Microsoft Outlook, The Bat и Outlook
Express mail programmes using mail-box in gtel.ru domain and Internet access through
"123 dialing" in GlobalTel access server or through any other Internet provider.
The detailed instructions on mail programmes adjustment are given in their respective
manuals.Standard e-mail box volume is 2Mbt.

Short description:
The service allows GlobalTel subscribers to reserve volume (ftp-file) in GlobalTel
server for storing information files. The file security is ensured by personal login
and password, which at the user's request may simultaneously be used by several people.
The file access for information retrieval and onload is done through Internet address
ftp://ftp.gtel.ru port 21 (Standard FTP port) using FTP-client programme, Eg.,
CuteFTP. This programme allows completing the file download in the event of call
failure. Standard FTP-file volume is
10 Mbt.

Fax-mail service (incoming)

During trial operation the service is provided free of charge. The subscriber pays
only connection fee against the AD tariffs in accordance with the used
tariff plan
Short description:
The service allows the Globalstar mobile satellite communications system subscribers
to receive documents sent from any fax as TIFF format enclosures. The subscriber is
assigned a separate number in 954┘ GlobalTel numbering plan. The fax message sent to
such number will automatically be converted into TIFF format and forwarded to the
subscriber mailbox. The mailbox is located at GlobalTel server and can be used for
receiving of fax and e-mail messages. Mail programmes Microsoft Outlook, The Bat and
Outlook Express should be used for receiving faxes. The service advantage is the
fax guaranteed delivery to addressee. In the event the connection fails during
fax transmission it will not be lost and maybe received after the transmission
resumption.
