On August 24 a most significant automobile exhibition of year - "Motorshow-2005" was open in the Moscow Expocenter on Red Presnia.

GlobalTel's stand is located in the open area in front of Pavilion 1. Our exposition includes one of legendary off-road cars equipped with a Globalstar car-kit which participated in the expedition in the Himalayas last year. GlobalTel sponsored this expedition organized by the Russian "Off-Road" Clubs Association. Automobiles with Globalstar equipment covered the way from Moscow and Chelyabinsk up to Lhasa and the Kailas mountain. Our satellite phones worked perfectly in the Tibet Mountains. The Toyota Land Cruiser was provided to GlobalTel for the "Motorshow - 2005" by Trushnikov A.A, President of the "Off-Road" Clubs Association.

Within the framework of this exhibition the demo access to the Internet through the Globalstar satellite channel was carried out. The connection process was projected on the plasma panel fixed on the jeep roof. Visitors could view other types of equipment as well as full spectrum of services GlobalTel provides to its subscribers.
