During the last week within the framework of the INFOCOM-2004 exhibition held at the Krokus-Expo Center CJSC GlobalTel demonstrated the whole range of equipment and services it offers to its subscribers and presented its new market programme "New Offers of GlobalTel".


The mobile satellite communications invariably cause big interest both of telecommunications and information experts, and of those who heard about the opportunity to have a continuous communication for the first time. During the four days about 400 persons visited CJSC GlobalTel's exhibition stand.

During the exhibition the already traditional Forum of CJSC GlobalTel Dealers took place. The Company organizes a two-day forum for its numerous regional dealers (more than 100 dealers in 7 federal districts of the Russian Federation and in 6 countries of the CIS) for the third time. This year 53 representatives of 40 companies - CJSC GlobalTel dealers- came to Moscow. At the present Forum a new packet data service, services of its own SMS center and voice mail and as well as those opportunities which have appeared after their putting into operation were presented to the dealers. The dealers discussed the vital issues, shared their experience with colleagues, spoke about plans for the next year.

CJSC GlobalTel attaches a great importance to the Forum of dealers since the Company's basic sales are made in the regions. The support which regional dealers enjoy on the part of CJSC GlobalTel allows to strengthen and expand the dealer's network, to increase the share of the Globalstar equipment and services in the total amount of their sales, contributes to the active promotion of these communications services to the telecommunications market.
