On August 26 in the Northern Sakhalin military training exercises on liquidation of the spill oil in the vicinity of the "Vityaz" oil-producing complex were held. During the training exercises Poseydon Ltd. (CJSC GlobalTel dealer) experts used the GSP-2800M marine kit for point-to-point asynchronous data service.


The onboard HW/SW complex manufactured by CJSC Tranzas transmitted the video information and virtual data on the spill oil through GSP-2800 UT to the Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk processing and control center. The following data were transmitted: watercraft position location and movement parameters, the data received from the observation vessel radar station, the oil spot movement parameters.

The military training exercises were successful. The data channel operation was stable and the real-time data were received without interference or distortions.
