GlobalTel offers a short and a long-term rental program of Globalstar equipment and services for users who require communications in remote areas for short periods of time.

Our short term rental program allow users to obtain a Globalstar user terminal for a period of one week to four months and enjoy the same benefits of Globalstar services as other commercial subscribers. Terms are simple: subscribers provide to GlobalTel a deposit against the retail price of the equipment, (refunded back to the subscriber upon safe return of the equipment), and pay a 15 u.e. connection fee and 6 u.e. per day for use of the Globalstar user terminal. Traffic is tariffed as per the GlobalTel standard tariff plan.

Subscribers can obtain Globalstar services on a short-term rental basis at our sales showroom.

Subscribers can also rent Globalstar services on a long-term basis from a period of four months with an option to buy out the phone at a later date. Under our long term rental program subscribers pay from only 69 u.e. per month for rental of equipment (inclusive of monthly access fee) and are charged for traffic as per our standard tariff plan. All monthly subscriber payments can be offset against the retail price of the Globalstar handset should the subscriber wish to later purchase the Globalstar phone.
