CJSC GlobalTel offers new 4- and 8-channel UTs of 32-64 kbps and higher bandwidth.
It is suggested that this type of the bandwidth extension be used to facilitate the simultaneous
transmission of large volumes of information from several computers at the direct call to the
central server's modem pool or through GlobalTel's Internet lock (124 code), which supports
the MPPP multichannel protocol.
CJSC GlobalTel experts have also tested the large-volume files simultaneous transmission mode from
one PC using not IP-protocols, but protocols of Z,Y,X-modem application Hyperterminal OC Win-xxxx.
At that the simultaneous transmission rate of 8 kbps of all the 8 compressed files from a remote
computer is ensured, which makes the total rate of 8 x 8 = 64 kbps. In the same way the simultaneous
reception of up to 8 files with the same rate is ensured. The modem ensures the information
compression according to the V.42 protocol.
We offer you to examine this UT and to test it in the regime of simultaneous transmission of several
files. We suggest that the testing be held on the 4-channel 1620x4 modem pool connected to PC through
USB. The dial-up can be made through "124" to CJSC GlobalTel's FTP-server or by dialing up to your
company's remote access server, which supports MPPP multichannel protocol.
The system configuration diagram with remote PC, given in the Fig., shows simultaneous operation
of several PCs through a multichannel UT in remote access mode to the company's central server modem
pool, which supports the multichannel connection.
